Higginson Associates have been contracted by the DMA since 1999 to represent Industry on the UK CSO and CONDO Projects and since 2002, Andrew Higginson has been Co-Chair of the CSO and CONDO Capability Steering Groups.
Today, Higginson Associates continues to represent Industry along with David Scillitoe, Chair of the DEFCON Working Group, on the MoD DEFCON and DefStan Working Groups for CONDO. Higginson Associates also sits on the Defence Industry Commercial Group, the MoD Logistic Planning Working Group, the NDIC Through-Life Capability Management and CSO Special Working Groups.

CSO Workshops and pre-Deployment Training
Higginson Associates run regular CSO and CONDO Workshops aimed at training Contractors - Directors, Managers, Commercial, Legal, HR and Contracting personnel within companies - on the processes and legal and commercial obligations upon the Contractor as part of the civilian component of the military force, prior to the contractor's deployment into an operational theatre.
We also provide CONDO pre-deployment training modules to a number of Training Providers and to contractors who are about to deploy their employees into an Operations Area (OA) and Joint Operations Area (JOA).

International CSO
Higginson Associates have provided consultancy support to NATO, the EDA, UNDPKO, AU and to the French, Norwegian, Spanish and Italian governments on the use of commercial support to military operations. We have also provided Consultancy on Disarmament, Demobilisation and Reintegration (DDR) programmes to a number of International donors, NGOs and commercial organisations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Higginson Associates Ltd is a member of the DMA, the Institute of Directors (IOD) and British Expertise. Andrew Higginson is Chairman of the British Expertise, Defence and Security Working Group.
Higginson Leadership Award
The Higginson Leadership Award is a yearly financial grant awarded to student projects that encourage a sense of social responsibility and inspirational leadership among students and alumni of Queens University, Belfast.
